Naturally Drifting

Naturally Drifting is a piece created from a journey of discovery to find the ancestry of my paternal grandmother. While attending a Gullah/Geechee festival on the coast of South Carolina, I found driftwood to use in an upcoming art exhibition of found pieces. With a pre-sculpted mask, add a few of my hand-sculpted beads for a touch of whimsy and rustic flair that combines the beauty of organic materials with imaginative design.
