The artwork on the right, "Naturally Drifting," carries a personal narrative. During a visit to St. Helena Island, SC, for a Gullah/Geechee festival with friends, I sought to learn more about my paternal grandmother. In the process, I discovered some driftwood and chose to create a mixed media piece for an exhibition. "Naturally Drifting" sold rapidly, but I will always cherish this image as a reminder of my experiences with friends and my heritage.
